As a runner for over 20 years, I’ve completed countless 5k and 10ks, nearly 40 half marathons, four full marathons and two ultra marathons. I’ve also reached outside of my comfort zone and completed sprint duathlons and triathlons. While challenging, combining the swim, bike and run was truly rewarding on many levels!
I remember running my very first mile over 20 years ago and the day I ran my first 5k. At that time, I never would have thought that I would be a runner 20 years later with so many miles of experience.
As a wife and mom of two children, I know how hard it can be to squeeze in time for fitness pursuits. Work responsibilities, family activities and life’s surprises often get in the way.
